Rich nations gain AI productivity, but India faces a unique job displacement challenge
Experts warn that AI and automation could disproportionately impact middle-income, higher-paying jobs and testing democracies like India. However, in ageing regions such as Europe, AI is seen as a productivity booster amid shrinking workforces, said economist Marcel Fratzscher.
