Trump staking ‘political capital’ on Gaza ceasefire success, expert says
US President Donald Trump is staking his “political capital” on the success of the Gaza ceasefire, said Harmonie Toros, a professor of politics and international relations at the University of Reading, in an interview with FRANCE 24. Toros noted that Trump was “front and centre” in the peace deal and was the one to announce the end of the war in Gaza.
